Valentine's Day   

Our class will not participate in a Valentine's Day celebration, but students may share Valentine's Day cards with students during Literacy Stations. Each child will receive a brown paper bag to decorate as part of homework. Students will bring their decorated bag to school with them on Monday, February 14.  Decorated bags will be displayed in a Valentine Day themed Literacy Station where students will "mail" their Valentine Day cards.  Valentine's will then be sent home for student's to enjoy. Students will not actually open Valentine Day cards during the instructional day.
